Mt Everest Base Camp 2011


Hello Friends!

Those of our friends interested in doing The Mt Everest Base Camp. Located at an altitude of 5,360 metres (17,590 ft) South Base Camp is in Nepal. The itinerary is for 13 Days Ex-Kathmandu. And those of you want, the itinerary can alo be customized Ex-Delhi.

The Everest Base Camp trek on the Nepal side is one of the most popular trekking routes in the Himalayas and is visited by thousands of trekkers each year. We save time and energy by flying from Kathmandu to Lukra, before starting the trek.From Lukra we trek for 07 Days to reach Everest Base Camp via Gorakshep, the flat field below Kala Patthar, 5,545 metres (18,192 ft) and Mt. Pumori, 7,145 metres (23,442 ft) Gorakshep is the location of the original Everest Base Camp with the new base camp being further up the valley.

Therefore we say its a one time experience. And all trekking enthusiast who plan for climbing some day are welcome to participate in the trek.

Today Team Himalayan Outdoors declared there 2nd fixed departure date for the ZANSKAR RAFTING EXPEDITION: 2009. The date was declared by the team on 05.07.2009.
The expedition as already discussed will depart from New Delhi. And will cater you with a chance to explore not only the heights of the water adventure but also the local culture of Ladakh, often referred to as THE LITTLE TIBET.

The expedition also includes a chance of driving on the Highest Motor able Road on the Planet. Hope to see you at the expedition.

BIGGEST RAFTING CAMP IN INDIA


Himalayan Outdoors (I) Pvt Ltd has been running its rafting camp on the bank of Ganga since 2006, but from the year 2008-09 we at Himalayan Outdoors have been alloted the biggest rafting camp in the country.
The alloted sand bed is almost of 7 Acres of white sand beach with a lot of natural landscaping already existing. Its named as the "Himalayan Outdoors- Gold Coast." The camp also have its own 35 Ft tall cliff for wall & rock climbing and rappelling.

The Camp is 24 Kms from Rishikesh and 272 Kms from New Delhi (6 Hrs drive).

Bhagirathi Rafting Expedition Concluded


The Bhagirathi Rafting Expedition, proved to be a success. Guests from the NCR region, India made it very obvious when the hit the confluence that they are adventurous...
The expedition concluded on 24.06.09 at the Shivpuri, 16 Kms from Rishikesh.

GANGA BASE CAMP


We at Himalayan Outdoors have the biggest beach camp on the bank of river Ganga. Its located in Byaasi, 24 Kms from Rishikesh and can accomodate more than 120 pax at a time.
We at Himalayan Outdoors offers you with a wide range of adventure and rejuvenating activities at the base camp.

Apart from the major activity (rafting) at camp, we have several other adventure based activities to cater like wall climbing, kayaking, burma bridge, ducky, beach cricket, trampoline, archery, rugby, beach volley ball, body surfing, village trekking, and other specially customized activities for team building.


The attraction of the camp is its massive white sand beach "stone n gold coast"

Himalayan Outdoors is closing the season 2008-09 on Ganga with an Bhagirathi Rafting Expedition, starting from Bhagwan (beyond Devprayag).

The expedition is starting from 21.06.09 from Rishikesh. The group will start running in the white waters of Bhagirathi from 22.06.09 and later on the third day will hit the confluence of Bhagirathi and Alaknanda (often called SANGAM, a Hindu Pilgrimage).

On the day forth we start hitting the major IV+ grade rapids of Ganga and finishes the expedition 16 Kms beyond Rishikesh, in a small village on the bank of Ganga.
